Please read the following important information regarding COVID-19 Coronavirus

The venue is working to ensure the health and safety of all patrons and staff is maintained. We want to address the growing fears around the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and share with you the information we have at the current time.

We are working to ensure our centre remains a safe place to visit and work. The health and safety of our community is our main priority, we always uphold a high standard of hygiene within the centre, however are taking extra precautions during this time.

We hope you will do what you can to take care of yourself and those around you, we also encourage you to use and support our community facility with confidence while it is safe to do so.

Remember if you are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of the flu, cough or cold to please remain away from the centre until you are feeling 100%.

Update - 20/10/2021

We are back! In line with Phase B of the Victorian Metro Roadmap, from this Saturday, 23rd October we will be returning to 18 Hole bookings and 4 players per tee time. Tee times will return to 10-minute intervals.

All patrons MUST provide proof of double vaccination upon entry and follow the current public health orders. 

Members that can not provide a valid vaccination certificate or exemption will be offered free membership suspensions until they can prove their vaccination status or until the mandate changes.

We advise asking a friend or family member to help you load your digital certificate to your mobile device if you require assistance. We will also accept valid physical copies of your vaccination certificate. This will need to be shown every time you enter, just like the QR code check in.

All bookings must still be completed online.

We'd like to thank everyone for taking the time to learn how to book online. We know it can be a bit of a learning curve, but once logged in, we hope you can see the benefits it grants you.

How we will operate

⏳ Please check in to the Pro Shop no earlier than 10 minutes before your tee time.

😷 Wearing of masks both indoors and outside and check-in via the Service Victoria QR Code app. (Preferred proof of vaccination certificate)

💉 Have proof with you at all times of your vaccination status and show our team member at entry.

☕ The Grass Lands open for takeaway only. Seated areas are not in use, indoor or outdoor. Please leave the course immediately after your round is complete.

💻 Online bookings only. No Walk Ins. (you will not be given access to the golf course without an online booking)

👪  Groups of 4 fully-vaccinated persons

🎯 Visitors must reside with Melbourne Metro

Update - 29/09/2021

Confirmed reopening of Golf - Wednesday 29th September

As per the State Government directive in accordance with the National Plan Phase A, YPGC will be re-opening once Victoria reaches 80% of 16+ with single dose vaccination. The confirmed date to reach this milestone is Wednesday 29th September.

How we will operate:
 
We will be operating two 9x hole courses off the 1st and 10th tee's for the first fortnight of operation. Upon arrival, if there is a turnaround time available for another 9 holes, you will be given this at no extra cost, if you request.
 
💉 Each player must have 1 vaccination dose
 
⏳ Please check in to the Pro Shop no earlier than 10 minutes before your tee time. We are offering take away coffee's and kiosk items. These are not be consumed on-site for a post round de-brief.

Your Memberships and Passes 

Your membership will be reinstated from Wednesday the 29th of September. If you reside outside 15KM from YPGC or you do not feel comfortable returning to the venue just yet, please contact our team for assistance via the contact us page on the website.

Following the latest State Government directive, lockdown restrictions remain in place for VIC, meaning we will remain closed until further Government direction. 

This closure period is in line with the extended lockdown revisions from the State Government. 

We are saddened by the news, however we all need to work together to help protect our community and stop the spread. We are counting down the days until we can see you again!

What does this mean for me?

Can I suspend my membership, given the current situation?

All golf memberships will be put on free suspension. We are managing this process on your behalf and you will receive an email to confirm suspension. 

If you notice that debits are still occurring, please contact the Pro Shop as your postcode details may not be up-to-date.

Are casual golf rounds, mini golf rounds or driving range visits still available for purchase?

Unfortunately if you reside in a nominated lockdown post-code, we strongly recommend that you do not attend the facility this month due to golf not being a permitted reason to leave your home.

General - What are we doing to minimise health risks at the course and facilities?

The course and facility will remain vigilant in implementing infection control procedures, including 100% COVID-19 Infection Control Training for our staff, daily cleaning in accordance with DHHS recommendations, the promotion of healthy hygiene habits and making hand sanitiser available for staff and patrons to use.

We ask that members, guests, and the general public wishing to access our course adhere to the health and travel declaration and practice good personal hygiene. If they feel unwell, they should not come to the club and instead, seek immediate medical attention. Keeping the course safe is a collective effort from everyone.
