• A great day out for the whole family with meals available from Grass Lands or our tempting BBQ!

Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions 

For this event, the following terms have the following meanings: 

2. Eligibility 
Australian residents aged 18 years or over are eligible to enter the event at Yarrambat Park Golf Course on Friday 29 September, 2023. Persons under the age of 18 may enter only with the consent of parent or legal guardian.  If such consent is not given, the entry will be deemed invalid, and any prize(s) forfeited. 

Eligibility for the below: 

• This event is open to all golfers all abilities and ages. 
• A golf handicap is not required.
• Golfers under the age of 18 must have parental or legal guardian consent to be eligible to win any available prizes. 

3. Entry 
By entering this event, the entrant accepts these terms and conditions.  A person may only enter this event via the registration from 15 August 2027 to 27 September 2024. 
To enter, entrants must register with full payment of: 

• $45 for members of Yarrambat Park Golf Course 
• ​$55 for non-members 
• Player cancellations will not be accepted after 22 September and will forfeit entry free without valid medical certification. 

4. Rules of play 
Each of the 18 holes will be designed to be a Par 3 with Tee Markers set by course management. 
The event will comprise a Stroke Competition and a Closest the Pin competition. 
Stroke Competition:

• Players will play each of the 18 holes from the designated Par 3 Tee Markers and count their strokes required to complete all 18 holes. 
• Best scores will be based on the number of strokes required to complete all 18 holes and will not be adjusted by any handicaps. 
• Prizes will be awarded by way of a Yarrambat Park Golf Course Gift Voucher, with value(s) as follows: 

• $100 to the player with the best stroke score 

• $50 to the player with the second best stroke score 

• $25 to the player with the third best stroke score 

• $25 to the player with the fourth best stroke score  

In the event of a tie for any placings, the value of the placings involved will be totalled and divided equally by the number of players involved in the tie. 

Closest the Pin Competition:

• Each player will tee off from the designated tee position on each hole.
• The golfer who hits their tee shot closest to the pin will be awarded a Yarrambat Park Golf Course

​Gift Voucher with value(s) as follows: 

• $100 - Closest to the Pin on each of Holes 1 to 17 (ie. $1,700 in total) 

• $300 – Closest to the Pin on Hole 18 

• $300 - Additionally, each golfer who lands on the 18th green on the 18th hole will be eligible to participate in an 18th hole shootout.  

• Once all golfers have completed their round (approx. 4:30pm / 5:00pm) each golfer who landed on the 18th green during the event will have the opportunity to have one (1) shot at another Closest to the Pin competition with a prize to the value of $300. 

• The day will involve entertainment, a food and beverage golf cart, spectators and music. Golfers are to expect such conditions.

5. Prizes 
Under the legislation of the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission, Yarrambat Park Golf Course is required to follow legislative rules around “game of chance” prized. There will be 23 prizes and 23 winners.  

Each winner will receive a gift voucher from Yarrambat Park Golf Course as follows: 

• $100 to the player with the best stroke score 

• $50 to the player with the second best stroke score 

• $25 to the player with the third best stroke score 

• $25 to the player with the fourth best stroke score  

• $1700 for Closest the Pin on Holes 1 to 17 ($100 each hole) 

• $300 for Closest the Pin on Hole 18 

• $300 for Closest the Pin on 18th Hole shootout 

The total prize pool is valued at $2,500.  

• Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be substituted for cash.   

• Prizes can only be used at the bricks and mortar of Yarrambat Park Golf Course, 649 Yan Yean Road, Yarrambat Vic 3091, Australia 

• Prizes are not redeemable online. 

  Voucher Terms and Conditions: 

1. All vouchers expire three (3) years from the date of issue. No refund or credit will be given for any unused balance. 

2. Vouchers cannot be redeemed or exchanged (whether wholly or partly) for cash, including any unused balance on the card, nor can they be used to purchase other vouchers or tender. 

3. You may be prohibited from purchasing certain items (such as alcohol if you are under the age of 18 years). 

4. Vouchers entitle the holder to goods/services equal to the value stated on the card or remaining after partial redemption. Where an order's value exceeds the balance of the gift voucher, you must pay the balance in cash. 

5. If you do not hold an existing user account, you must open a user account with Yarrambat Park Golf Course in-order-to spend (redeem) the balance of this voucher. 

6. Items purchased using vouchers which are subject to our returns or refunds policy will be refunded as store credit. We reserve the right to issue you with a new voucher equivalent to the value of your refunded voucher purchase. 

7. The value shown on the voucher includes any applicable GST. 

8. Should Yarrambat Park Golf Course suspect any fraud relating to a voucher, Yarrambat Park Golf Course may refuse to redeem the voucher until satisfied no fraud has occurred. 

9. Yarrambat Park Golf Course is not liable for any lost/stolen/damaged vouchers (unless fault or damage in the voucher arises as a fault of us). Please contact Yarrambat Park Golf Course immediately if your voucher has been lost/stolen. Lost/stolen vouchers can only be replaced if satisfactory proof is provided and the voucher has not been redeemed. 

10. You will not be sent statements of transactions on a voucher. You can check your voucher balance and expiry date at any time by emailing the Pro Shop.

11. Yarrambat Park Golf Course reserves the right to change these conditions at any time and will provide at least 14 days’ notice. Yarrambat Park Golf Course will give notice by posting the changes on our website.  

6. Winners 
The winners of the prizes will receive a gift voucher which will include instructions on how to redeem their prize(s). Winners will also be announced on the Yarrambat Park Golf Course’s Facebook page at 10am AEST on 30/09/2023. After winners have contacted Yarrambat Park Golf Course to claim their prize, Yarrambat Park Golf Course will arrange delivery of the prize(s). 

7. Prohibitions and Promoter’s rights 

This event is subject to Golf Australia’s policies and By-Laws which can be viewed on the Golf Australia website.

Entrants are prohibited from and will have entries disqualified where Yarrambat Park Golf Course determines that an entrant has abused, misused or otherwise dishonestly or deceptively entered the event or manipulated the results of the event. Entrants will be disqualified where, in the opinion of Yarrambat Park Golf Course, they are tampering or have tampered with the entry process or results of the event. 

8. Promoter’s liability 
Yarrambat Park Golf Course is not liable for any loss, expense, damage or liability that may be suffered or incurred by a person in entering this event or accepting and using the prizes.  If Yarrambat Park Golf Course is liable, the venue’s liability is limited to either resupply of the goods or services.  This section (9) does not alter a person’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
